I love it!!! You brought back so many memories and also you reminded us that each parent brings something special in ourlives. Thank you for allowing us to peer our heads into that special daughter/father, relationship.

Thank you so much for sharing! I have learned as I grow older that my parents (especially dad) did do the best they could with what they had at the time. I've learned to Release, Trust and Restore what I can of the family unit. My uncle passed away 2:30am this morning and as I reflect on the male images in my life.... I must say, we've got to learn to cherish and uplift them as each day passes. Hold our Fathers, Brothers, Uncles, Granddaddies and Sons close! Happy Father's Day!

Thanks everyone. Father's day was great. I started a 10 day fast (which I haven't been too public about) and there was crawfish everywhere. Although I don't normally eat much crawfish...it sho' was hard to be "celebant."
